Residential Substance Use Disorder Treatment
The residential rehabilitation center at Crossing Recovery Center provides highly structured, inpatient care for those in the initial stages of their recovery.
During your time on the unit, your focus will be on getting better, without distractions from outside influences. The residential unit is staffed by qualified counselors and behavioral health specialists who will provide you with the encouragement and support you need to continue working through the highs and lows of early recovery.
Our residential treatment facility consists of both a men and women’s unit that can each house up to 16 patients at one time. For the first two weeks of your stay, you will have a room to yourself. Each room has its own bathroom, shower, and TV. The length of treatment in the residential facility is typically 24-28 days. During that time, you will attend meaningful and thought-provoking treatment groups, participate in individual counseling, engage in health and wellness activities, and learn the skills you will need to maintain sobriety. Why Residential Treatment?
Many patients continue to struggle with difficult medical and psychological issues after the detoxification process is complete. Our residential rehabilitation program allows us to monitor your condition to reduce ongoing problems. If you are feeling distraught or anxious, a member of our counseling team will be on hand to work through your emotions. If you are continuing to experience cravings or withdrawal symptoms, our physician may provide you with medications to help you better tolerate your discomfort.
Studies on recovery from addiction show that patients who are admitted to an inpatient medical detox program but refuse to undergo any further treatment, are likely to return to substance misuse. True rehabilitation requires careful, long-term treatment, and that is what Crossing Recovery Center can provide. In a comfortable and relaxing setting, you will receive physical and emotional support from our team and from fellow members of the Crossing Recovery Center community.
