Crossing Healthcare Launches “Crossing Kids”: More Care, Less Waiting for Macon County Families

Decatur, Illinois – June 10, 2025 — Crossing Healthcare is proud to introduce Crossing Kids, a new name that reflects a renewed and expanded commitment to pediatric care for families across Macon County.

With a fully dedicated pediatric team, pediatric walk-in care, faster appointment availability, and evening appointments, Crossing Kids offers a more personal, responsive model of care - the kind every parent wants, and every child deserves.

“We created Crossing Kids because we know what it’s like to be a parent trying to get the right care for your child,” said Tanya Andricks, CEO of Crossing Healthcare. “You shouldn’t have to wait weeks to get in or settle for care that isn’t designed with kids in mind. It’s about trust, consistency, and knowing you’re supported at every stage of your child’s health journey.”

Care That Fits Families – All in One Place
Across the country, and right here in Macon County, families often face long waits and limited options for pediatric care. Crossing Kids was created to change that, designed around what real families need: quicker access to care and support that fits their lives.

“Families deserve care that’s built around them, not the other way around,” said Dr. Tricia Scerba, Pediatrician and Chief Medical Officer at Crossing Healthcare. “Crossing Kids brings together trusted relationships, timely access, and pediatric expertise - right here in our community.”

What Families Can Expect at Crossing Kids:
