Lindsay Green, FNP
When do you first recall wanting a career in medicine?
Ever since I was a child I wanted to be a nurse. My mother was a nurse and I admired her commitment for the profession and her relationship with individuals/patients that we would see out in the community. I knew I could make a difference in the lives of others pursuing a career in medicine.
Why did you choose your specialty?
I chose to be in family practice because of my past emergency room nursing experience. Many of the illnesses and injuries I saw could have been prevented which sparked my interest to work in a community health center to inspire and educate others to be proactive with their health.
What do you like to do outside of Crossing Healthcare?
My husband and I spend our free time in the outdoors. We enjoy traveling to national parks, backpacking, cycling, mountain climbing, kayaking, and winter/snow activities. I also enjoy cooking, gardening, and being crafty.
